Olivia's?

Flying into OKW for a long weekend and we have reservations for Olivia's Friday night. Never stayed at OKW so we wanted to try the in-house reasturant.

Anyone have any thoughts/experiances dining here?

Just returned from OKW yesterday and ate at Olivia's twice during our stay. We thought it was very good. The day we got there we had lunch there and they had a Manhattan roastbeef sandwich as the special. It was really tasty.

We ate breakfast there yesterday before we headed home and it was good also.

Enjoy Olivia's and OKW!! very lovely resort and peaceful.

DD20 and I ate there several times. We think its an overlooked gem! The food was very good and so was the service.

One of our favorites for consistently good food and service. We just ate there for lunch on Saturday and my daughter had the half soup of the day/sandwich, hubby had the roast beef special, and I had the shrimp pasta dish. It was all delicious.

Just got back from OKW and we really enjoyed Olivia's.
We ate there for lunch.
The cuban sandwich was very tastey.

I think that the star there is their desserts. Probably the best that we had all week on-property.
The key lime tart and the banana bread pudding sundae are pretty excellent.
This was also the only restaurant where a manager came over to ask how things were. He said that they just changed the cream sauce recipe on the pasta and he wanted to see how it was (it is apparantly lighter now that it had been...it was pretty tastey).
He also said that they make the desserts IN HOUSE every day fresh.
You could really tell.

The chocolate cake was just ok though. I saw someone else get the cheesecake. It looked really good and was a huge slab.
The desserts are also pretty big here....pace yourself!

Our waiter was Joe. He was a smarty so we played along with him...he was a HOOT!
He said at breakfast they have a banana bread french toast with a rum butter sauce. I wish we could have fit in another meal here!

We love Olivia's. Every meal I had there was delicious. It is a nice casual restaurant that I am sure you will enjoy. We try to eat there once during every trip.
