Olivia's for dinner

Hey everyone!

We're thinking of doing a trip this July to OKW. Never stayed there, and never tried Olivia's. Thought this would be a good opportunity to try it. Do you recommend it? What are your favorites there?

I'd be traveling with my sister and my 2 kiddies.

I'm curious too. We're flying down on Friday for a long weekend with DS and DDiL. We decided to try OKW for the first time. The most recent comments that I've read about Olivia's on the Dis have been mixed reviews.

We stayed at OKW last August. We at dinner at Olivia's one night and we thought it was pretty good. DH and I had steak and DD and her friend had some kind of pasta. The restaurant is nice and we thought the atmosphere was good. I wouldn't make a special trip to OKW to eat there but if we stay at OKW again, we would have dinner there at least once. The teenagers liked being able to run out immediately after dinner and head for the pool. That was a big attraction in August!

Our home place is OKW and have been going their since 93. Oliva's is a very nice place to eat any meals. I highly recommend it for a dinner or any meal. Its casual atmosphere make it a great place. We do not eat their often but all food sold at OKW comes out of same kitchen. This is truly our second home.

Here's 2 more questions if you don't mind- do you need ADR for Olivia's and approx what time do they change over from lunch to dinner? Thanks very much!!

Thanks for the replies! I am really hoping to do dinner here on the night we arrive. Today, DH got the week off in July that we wanted for vacation so now he's coming along too and it looks like we're going for sure! Yay!

Anyone else have any suggestions or thoughts?

Olivia's actually closes between some meal times...I am sorry I don't remember which and what ..but I do recall going there twice and both times we were surprised they were closed ( we are slow learners). We like the food there it is modestly priced and the service is good. It seems always quiet to us as compared to many Disney Dining places. I always have the grouper. We never make an ADR ..but probably should.

The pasta with shrimp is outstanding and you have to try the Key Lime Tart for desert!
