Watching videos which some are old it looks like when you show up for your reservation you still have to kind of wait in a line. I know that is typical of all reservations but are they pretty close on time or do you have to wait a decent amount before getting in? Just trying to figure out timing

With the 2 drink minimum do you normally order both at the same time or are they pretty quick getting drinks that you can order the second and not have to wait awhile to get it? Just because of the 45 min time limit I want time to enjoy my drink and not feel like I am chugging it down. And also do they come around and let you know your 45 min is up or is it an honor system thing? not trying to get away with staying longer just curious.

Thanks

At Oga’s Saturday. We checked in on the app and hung out nearby. Received the it’s ready notification within approximately 5 minutes. There was a line of standby with a cast member to make contact with at its end. We were sent directly up to the front to be escorted in. We didn’t stay the full time period but it appeared they were keeping track and turn over was good. We ordered one drink at a time. Service was quick. Server would continue to check how doing. Didn’t feel rushed. She was great. We had a table booth. There was a clear plexiglass dividing it in half for two parties. Still a great experience. Also can still do a walk around for pictures etc…Enjoy!
To add: our experience was at DL.

I was gonna say, there is NO plexi at Oga’s in WDW. You are seated w other parties and the place is at 100% capacity for sure.

We were there on Saturday and our table was ready right at our ADR time. We didn’t feel rushed but note it is a 2-drink MAX (not min) so if you’re a slow sipper and definitely want 2 drinks make sure you tell your server. That said service is VERY fast because (spoiler alert) all the drinks are pre-mixed (not like at a bar where they measure and shake each cocktail). I don’t think you have to worry about not relaxing and enjoying your full time there :) Have fun!!

oh yes sorry I meant 2 drink max. We went to Disney in June with the kids and couldn't get reservations...we were staying offsite. Going in Nov with just my husband who is a huge Star Wars fan and got reservations this time. Super excited.

is it uncomfortably crowded in there?

is it uncomfortably crowded in there?

That depends on your comfort level but all over property social distancing measures are gone. On ride queues you fill in all available space, and walkways were pretty crowded during our trip this past week (moreso than our Covid-era trips last Sept and this past March). We even shared a Skyliner cabin w 2 other parties. If any of that wants to make you run screaming I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(

Regarding Oga's at WDW. As noted, there is no social distancing anymore, they have increased capacity to what appears to be pre-covid and there is no plexiglass inside, although plexiglass barriers unless they are floor to ceiling do nothing to block an airborne virus. if you are assigned to a booth you will probably be sitting with other parties, no barrier.

I had reservations for my party of four last week. Wasn't given a table -- only standing room at the bar. I personally was not comfortable at all. It felt very crowded. We ordered our drinks to go, took a few photos, and left. It was a bummer, because I was really looking forward to it --- but I suppose I'll just have to hope for the best next time. :c
