Oldest clothing

Burnt orange Abercrombie hoodie. Man, that thing has lasted like 15 years and it still looks new. Wear it all the time. Have a Prince concert t-shirt, but I don't wear it anymore because I do not want anything to happen to it. A friend got it for me.

I have a pair of jeans from Express that I bought in 1991, when I was 17. They are a horrible color and super high-waisted, but I love that I still fit into them. They are a size 1/2 (one-two, not one-half). I only wear them to clean in or paint in, but they always get a smirk and a smart remark from my husband.
They're definitely a little tight, and I get red marks on my stomach and a little pain when I wear them. Someday they'll have to retire.

mine is a hard rock cafe new york sweatshirt that i got back in 1987, when our HS marching band and choir went to NYC. i was in 10th grade, lol. i've had that sweatshirt almost 24 years!

My Burberry raincoat purchased in 1972 at the Haymarket shop, complete with button in winter lining.

I have a LL Beans striped henley that is probably 13 or 14 years old. Though don't wear it often, I'll probably never get rid of it! :lovestruc On our refrigerator is a photo of me holding my newborn son, now age 12, wearing that shirt!!

I have a Columbia Winter Jacket that was 20 years old. It was one of the first one's that ever came out. The zipper broke and it had velcro also, so I never zipped it up, just closed it with velcro. We cleaned out our basement -got a dumpster-and I packed it up and through it in the dumpster.
I'm sad to say I got that Jacket when I was pregnant with my dd, and she will be 21 next month. The last 15 years, I never wore it in public, I only wore it, when I went outside to shovel snow. That winter coat was made for -60 degress weather.

I don't have anything in my closet that is more than 3 years old that I actually wear. I do have my high school jacket and my prom gowns from 1984.

I have a few tshirts from the late 80's that I still wear around the house and under sweatshirts. Probably the oldest shirt that I have that I wear on a regular basis is from 1988 when I was in an America's favorite pre-teen pagent... I was 8 years old. I have an entire collection of the shirts from 1988-1992 and I wear them all the time. I also have cheerleading competition shirts from 1990-1994 that are worn pretty regularly.

I have a ton of sweatshirts, sweaters, and shorts from junior high and high school (graduated in 1999). I even have PJ's from the early 90's :rotfl:

The oldest piece of clothing that I have and "can" wear but don't wear on a regular basis is my school jacket from kindergarten

my robe... i wear it every day. i got it when i was about 11? 1993. it's white terry and is "bald" in some areas where the terry has disappeared. i LOVE it though. i've bought/received several other robes over the years, but always go back to this one. it's just so soft. i should prob. be looking for a replacement since it could take years to find one.

You know...you ought to replace that old shirt with a brand spanking new AUBURN shirt! I think it would do you good girl! :rotfl2:;)

I wouldn't mind one, my sister went to Auburn, but my DH wouldn't let me in the house LOL!

I have a sleeveless button down blouse that I bought at TDS in 1987. It has Mickey Through the Years embroidered all over it. Every time I wear it at WDW poople ask me where I bought it and I tell them it is from 1987.
I asked for it for my birthdaythat year but didn't get it. My then ex said it was way too much to pay, $28 for a blouse. Two months later he hit me with divorce papers.
I went to TDS the day of the divorce to buy myself a present and found the shirt for 75% off.
I wear it every year on my birthday at WDW and about once every month during the summer.

I have a really ugly plaid fleece oversized shirt that is about 14 years old. I wear it at home when I am REALLY cold and need another layer. It is pretty hideous!

I also have a Liz Claiborne party dress...it is a swing style and is covered with clear sequins over a tan and black tiny floral print. I never wear it anymore, but I can't part with it. It was the first dressy dress I bought, and it was really a splurge for me. It is 18 years old, and totally out of style! :lmao:
