hi just wondering if it would be ok for my 15 year old to order from the kids menu. She is mentally disabled, and will gag if offered something unknown or odd smelling LOL. She eats a good diet at home not just the kiddie meal type of food but I feel at least she will recognize it.

Can someone also explain the way chef mickey works, it says hotel guest have to pay a smaller supplement than non guests. is this supplement as well is cost of food ?

sorry last question. how does the fastpass work here ? on my booking it states I get "free" fastpass lol now is this Disney over selling what's already free or do hotel guests get extra benefits ? we are staying at Davy Crocketts ranch.
When giving our daughter a choice of any holiday she would always choose a caravan bless her so she is going to love this.
Thankyou

She will be able to order from the kids menu in Counter service places but Im not sure in table service places. You would have to ask and be prepared to be told no or have to pay an adult price.
Buffet restaurants could be a good option as well
Have you any places in mind that you were thinking of?

If you are having breakfast at cafe Mickey you pay slightly less if you are
staying onsite (including DCR) but if its lunch or dinner you pay for what you order wherever you are staying.
They do have a set menu which if you pay in advance (on your booking form) is a 3 course meal and can work out quite expensive. People quite often order a couple of pizzas here to share rather than a meal each as the childrens means especially can be quite expensive

Yes as you say this is Disneys way of over selling what you already get free - you use your park ticket in the machines by the rides to get the fast pass.

Answers above - have a great time

Thankyou, chef mickeys makes more sense now.
so if we just wanted to share some pizzas and fries what's the best way to book, is it just wait till we get their and see if they have availablity. tbh I am not really sure where we are planning to eat yet, I have had a quick look but really need to have a proper look.

If we did half board would we need to use the brekkie at Davy Crocketts or can I book brekkie in another hotel ?

Others have share pizza in Cafe Mickey without a problem. If you are going down this route then I would just make reservations.

Many have said Half board isn't good value unless you want to budget your meals. You would have to have breakfast in the Davy Crockett unless you pay for the DLH breakfast which includes hot items. For this I think you just turn up on the day and say you would like to have breakfast here, your voucher wouldn't cover here.

I agree - especially if you arent sure where you want to eat its not worth getting half board. You may decide counter service options are better for you and then the half board vouchers cant be used.

DCR stopped including breakfast but I think you can pay more to have it included but to be honest its probably not worth it. You can either buy stuff cheaper to have breakfast before you leave or get to the park early and grab a croissant or something in the park - Cable Car bakery used to be a favourite of mine - or treat yourself to breakfast in DLH one day. A lovely buffet with loads of choices including hot items.
You could go into the parks and do EMH and then have a late breakfast about 10ish which means you wont need lunch as well. Its amazing how much of an appetite you can build up during EMH

Oooo late brekkie in DLH sounds amazing. Do you know how much it is ? 2 adults a 15 year old and 2 kids. I am making myself hungry looking at the menus

its currently 14 euros per adult (or over 11), 6 euros per child, under-3s are free.
We do as ASmallWorld said at least once a trip, pay for DLH breakfast after 9.30am, relax over it, have the food as brunch, then we don't need anything else to eat until dinner time in the evening :).
