Older Episodes??

I was trying to search on YouTube for some of the earlier episodes of the Dis Unplugged. Earliest shows I could find were from circa early 2013, episode 577 was as far back as I could find. Does anyone know if the early shows are available/posted somewhere else? Would love to listen to, or watch some from the first few years. Thank you.

There is a way to listen to podcasts before YouTube. it isn't straightforward.

First, there is a list of the older podcasts, going back to the July 25, 2006, podcast.

https://disunplugged.libsyn.com/webpage/page/75/size/10. Unfortunately, the links to the mp3 files shown on this page do not work. I won't try and explain why (I don't know).

The mp3 files are still available but you need to be able to cut and paste links from an xml file. If I can figure this out, anyone can.

The xml file is available at https://www.disunplugged.com/podcast.xml

When you open it, the page will look like this:



Its a mess, right? But, if you go to the line that says: "enclosure" and copy the url (the part in blue) without the quotes, then paste that into your browser, the mp3 file will start playing in a new browser window.

Some folks won't find this level of effort worth it. But many of the early disunplugged shows were hilarious.

I can't speak for Craig or Corey but I expect it is limited resources to go back and edit all the old links. The xml file points to the mp3 files stored on podtrack but the page listing the old podcasts page ( http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-podcast/) points to http://traffic.libsyn.com/disunplugged which I think the DIS stoped using in 2013. Fixing this likely requires manually editing all the links on the 75 pages shown on http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-podcast/ . I suspect it is on someone's to do this when they have a spare week with nothing to do...

Thanks. I am afraid that if the link has been broken since 2013 I had better try to start learning some new trick to get it, or sadly give up the thought of revisiting those oh so funny Glory Days of the Roundtable, Bob, and best of all when at times the whole train would jump the tracks. LOL

I am a big fan of old episodes and they are on Spotify. They go back to 2006, funny to hear prices back then. Just listened to GF review that was like 300 bucks a night lol
