Has anyone stayed at Old Town Suites in Celbration before? We have 2 days before our FD in March 2012 and thought we'd try it , rather than just the room only option and OOP for food and Passes. Prices look good just wondering about the rooms.

If memory serves me correct, this may have been a Days Inn at one time and the reviews were always horrible. That being said, based on some research, I think they are trying to make this place better, but the tripadvisor reviews are not all great.

In the same area, there is the Comfort Suites Maingate East, which gets more positive reviews:

My sister, her family, and my mom stayed here 6 years ago and they enjoyed it. Based on the tripadvisor reviews, I would say it is about the same. The nice thing about this hotel is that they have free deluxe continental breakfast with make your own waffles, so it can be a money saver.

Other people on these boards have said Beuna Vista Suites are also pretty good for the money. I haven't stayed there though.

Good luck.

the motel is actually outside of celebration in kissimmee on Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy this is NOT upscale suites. But, if you want lots of room, and a kitchen, it is ok. The shower did not work the TV quit working a couple of times, and only had a couple of channels that worked one night was enough and i left

Thanks everyone....I'll keep looking:surfweb:
Perhaps the Staybridge Suites near DTD.

I think that is a good idea. It used to be the Days Lodge (back in the 70's), then the Days Suites. It has just gone downhill. I used to stay there until I discovered that I could get a place just as cheap by renting a house or using skyauction.

That is pretty nice, as is the Springhill Suites. Also, if money is a concern, I stayed at the Extended Stay Deluxe LBV for one night, and I thought it was pretty nice for the price. Well, I stayed for free (won a certificate in a contest), but I could have gotten the room for $74 that night.
