old tickets??

I wasn’t aware of a system upgrade but that might explain why I also have physical tickets that are not listed on MDE as well as tickets that say “valid” on MDE that I can not match up with any cards I have. Does “valid” mean there are visits left? I’ve always tried to be very careful with these tickets and can’t believe that I may have lost some.

None of my tickets said “valid” during the upgrade. Some just vanished completely from MDE and some lost days. I had to visit guest services to figure out what happened and try to fix the mess. If you still have all the plastic cards, they should be able to figure out what happened.
 
The remaining 'plus' features (if you have them: WP, MG, etc) will not show up on your MDE. only remaining Theme Park visits. You'll need to check with GS for those items remaining. I keep track with my Ticket spreadsheet.
 
The tickets that say “valid” but have numbers that don’t match any cards I have show up when I click click on “My Profile” then “Magicbands and Cards” . I’m just wondering if anyone else sees valid tickets that don’t match ticket numbers the own there?

Yes they can now. If you see guest services. My non expire tickets that had to be fixed by guest services because they vanished in the upgrade now show the fun visits. In MDE, there are 2 screens for each ticket. One shows the number of park hopper days left and the other shows the number of fun visits left.
 

I bought 5 5-day park hoppers in 1999-2000 as a cast member at the Disney store (at about $110/each) and used a few days from them with random people in assorted 1 or 2 day trips through the years. In 2018, a cast member was able to determine how many days were left on each through photos over email. However, I was told I needed to exchange in person at the park prior to entry. We chose just to purchase new passes since we couldn’t book fast pass ahead of time using them for that trip. We’re planning a resort (mostly) trip this October and may try them again since genie doesn’t need month + reservations.
 
I would also like to know if Genie+ can be added to these old non expiration tickets. Thanks to all those holding these tickets for the info.
