Old tickets collectors item???

Has anyone ever heard of the old Disney tickets being a collectors item? My mom called Disney to see if she could use her old tickets on our up coming trip and she told her yes, but said her ticket was a 25th anniversary ticket and it is worth more than face value. She also has some old coupon books for Magic Kingdom and the lady told her these would be collectors items. Has anyone ever heard of this?

We had this come up in our family just this past week. My sister's MIL found an old WDW ticket with some ride coupons. I checked on ebay and found a complete ticket book with these coupons being auctioned by Disney for about $300.
