Old ticket help

So I have some really old tickets (before they assigned a ticket to a person) a few years back I checked and I think there is 1 park day and 1 water park day left on the tickets. We leave for the world on Oct 17th just after the ticket changes happen. So I know there is an element of uncertainty in my questions. Anyway here goes:

1. Can these tickets be upgraded in anyway? I'm thinking AP, if yes can I have those added to MDE now so I can make FP+ for next year but not activate the new AP until Oct 2019 so it's good until 2020?

2. If I can't upgrade is there a good way to use these tickets? Or just get tickets for less days next year and use these up on remaining days?

3. Should I put these in my account while we are down there so I can potentially use them in the future?

4. My DD is not on this trip, but may be next year can I assign her one of these tickets(if that's a good idea) even if she's not present?

In 2016, we got to WDW one day ahead of a cruise, and we had two old park hopper tickets from 1997 with one day left on each. We took them to the ticket booth at Epcot and traded them for one day park hopper tickets that we used the same day. I think that was the only way to convert the tickets; since it was only for one day (and we didn’t get there until the afternoon), we didn’t bother to try to get FP or have them linked to our magic bands.

1. Nope. You say, "1 park day and 1 water park day left on the tickets" so that means they have been partially used in the past. Tickets cannot be upgraded if it has been over 14 days from their first use.
2. Use them on a trip when you ONLY need one or two days worth of tickets.
3. Yes. (As you can't advance-book FP if you don't have the ticket(s) in an MDX account.
4. Just take all of these tickets to any ticket booth or guest relations and have them converted to current-model plastic ticket.
THEN, you can decide, at ANY time, to add any of them to anyone's MDX account. And, you can do that yourself from home.

My UT tickets expire in Feb 2019. We had a trip for Oct 2018 but had to cancel due to sickness. We got Dvc to reschedule us for May 2019. If my UT tickets expire in Feb 2019 can I still sue them in May 2019 and just pay the difference if more money or upgrade to gold pass

Yes, you’ll be able to pay the difference and still use the tickets. You’ll have to do that in person. However, you likely won’t be able to make FP+ selections with those tickets.
