Ok... I love eating at the Disney Buffet's, I really do. 1900 Park Fare is one of my favorites.

Am I the only one that likes the food, but tries to hide from the characters? They are great for children, but I really hate them bothering me while I try to eat.

If I see one coming, I'll get up and get some more food, hovering around long enough until they are gone.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea, but I've seen them so many times that I really don't care to have my hair brushed by Goofey or made fun of by Pluto. I just want to eat..

Ha! How funny! While I like meeting characters and getting photos with them, I got kind of tired talking to the face characters. I'm an actor and improvisor, so I felt compelled to do bits with them while we talked rather than just enjoy their characters. I've done mingling characters and it's hard to do, so I ended up empathizing with the cast members rather than just enjoying the experience.

I prefer the non-face characters. No talking.

My wife and I enjoy LTT but when traveling without our grandchildren, we too would prefer some way to "wave off" the characters. It's too bad they can't put something on the table that would signal the characters the diners would prefer not to interact with them. Even for families with children, we sometimes see children that are terrified when the characters come over.

I like the idea of a "wave off" symbol on the table. That would be perfect. I hadn't thought about children that would be scared.
