There's probably a thread about this on one of the other boards, but I didn't see anything based on the quick search I just did.
Playing around in My Disney Experience, yesterday, I noticed that my profile says I have two cards associated with my account, and I manage another 4. It turns out they're the room keys from our last visit -- about a month ago. All 6 keys still indicate they're active.
Because they were DVC keys, there weren't any park tickets on them. But we did have room charging set up. My credit card is still linked to my MDE account. Does that mean those keys would still be valid for charging even though we've checked out? We let the kids have them as souvenirs, because I thought they'd be dead on Midnight of our check-out.
Is there now a new step required of going into MDE after a trip to deactivate your old room keys? There's an option to do it, but it's not necessarily in a location that someone would be looking at.
