We had the World Book Encyclopedias. I used to enjoy reading them. They really were interesting.

My godfather used to LOVE encyclopedias because he loved to learn about things but the things that interested him was learning about state facts and state birds and state capitals and he had the World Book encyclopedia set that was really old like from the 50's or 60's and the funniest thing my godfather would do with me was give me a lesson on state capitals and he would quiz me on them and I would always get the answers right. My parents had the same World Book encyclopedias and still have them in our garage but my godfather had some interesting books and some old National Geographic magazines and he even collected World Almanacs too
