Old park tickets-how to check days left?

We've booked packages for the past handful of years that included 1 or 2 day park tickets (like the free dining), but we usually bought AP's to use instead. I can't recall which years we used the tickets to upgrade to the APs and which years we didn't use the tickets at all. How long have the package tickets been linked to the room keys, and is there a way to find out which room keys still have an unused ticket attached? We have a trip booked for Aug, but may not go due to my job situation. Trying to still go (for the least amount of $ spent) if I can secure a new job soon. If I can figure out how many days worth of park tickets we already have (from home), I can avoid having to buy more tickets. Do I have any recourse if it can't be figured out?

You can contact Disney and they will tell you only if there are days left, but will not tell you how many days unless you are there in person.

Unfortunately I will have to search for the old room keys, so I'm not sure if there is an identifying number or anything on them.

We have some of the 10 day non-expiring hopper and one park one day passes that we took to WDW last year. The Guest Relations at the park told us what was left on each. It could not be done via a phone call or email.

Yes. The KTTW cards [room keys] do have Printed ID numbers.

I could probably dig up our old room keys from the last four trips or so  and read the numbers off to them. I'd hate to wait till we get there months from now to find out that there's no days showing up. I'm sure I have some, just not sure which ones we upgraded & if I end up with an inexperienced CM, I don't know how I'd prove that I had some days left and on which keys those days remained.

A few years ago I had some old KTTW cards and had same question. I brought them with me on our trip and asked at resort. I was told we had days left. The next year when we arrived I had them with me and when we checked in it showed days left but when concierge tried to transfer them to new room card they became invalid. He said that I had to go to gues relations or ticket booth at park for help, did that and was told no days were left. They had had been transferred to another card already in a previous stay. It is hard to remember and keep track of. But he told me that the hotels did not have access to all of the same info that he had and his was accurate. So, I had to buy tickets.

If you need to find out how many days are left you can email Disney at:
ticket.usage@disneyworld.com
They require the following:
photo or scan of front/back of ticket
photo or scan of a government issued photo id
your full name
contact number where you can be reached during the day
You can also search for this info at Disney's website. Its listed there.
It took about 2 weeks. Hope that helps :)
