Several years ago (during the winter before the first Harry Potter land opened), Universal ran a special 7 day two park tickets for $99.00. The Harry Potter world was supposed to open that spring, so I booked a trip for that May thinking it would be open by then. In fact, I bought three of them, planning to return that fall. I round up buying an AP so never used one of the 7 day tickets. I had them sent to my email and then printed them off, so have just a sheet of paper. I have three questions:
1). Is that ticket still good?
2.) Is it good for the two Harry Potter lands?
3.) Is there any way to exchange that piece of paper for a real ticket? No way will that piece of paper last a week, but the only think I'm seeing online are four day tickets. Universal doesn't sell 7 day tickets any longer?

Seems like such a long time ago that you could buy a 7 day ticket for just $99.99 doesn't it?:duck:

It is still good and it is still good for the two HP lands. You are right that Universal doesn't sell 7 day tickets any longer, so they can't give you a replacement ticket. If you still have the email, you can print off more, or just copy that ticket. This has come up before, so hopefully someone with direct experience will respond. I'm pretty sure that Macraven used these tickets recently.

I know we bought tickets in 2007 direct from universal that we eventually used 2011 with no issues. I think they were tickets though not paper print outs. I did see people scanning paper at the entrances. Maybe once you have used them to enter go to guest services inside the park and see if you can get them swapped to tickets.

the tickets are still valid.

i bought tickets over the years that were the 7 day, both park, passes.

i have the preferred AP since 2002 but would buy the above tickets for sons that would go with me in the future.

i last exchanged some of them for present tickets at guest services inside the park as they would not scan at the gate. (2015)

easy process to have them exchanged.

some of the 7 day tickets i bought were $89 and others were at $99.
i could never turn down a deal so bought many of them.

i had actual tickets (7day) and not an email for them.

We used those tickets on our last trip, about two years ago. I wish we had bought more of those! We used the paper the entire week as ours was printed out on regular paper too. We went 6 days out of the 7 and the paper did last. We only needed it at the gate so then we put it away. Our tickets scanned just fine - but it was Nov/Dec 2013. I did have copies of our printed out tickets back at our hotel room just in case something happened to them or they got worn out. (Or lost!)

Yea those 7 day passes worked two years back

Last year when one son went with me, had to exchange them and again this year

One of the best deals UO did for all were those 7 day p2p tickets!

Ok, Great! Thanks! I'm a little anal and just scared that thin piece of paper will disintegrate on Dudley Doo Right or Popeye's barges, so I guess I'll just make several copies of the ticket and leave them in the room. All I ever carry to the park is a tiny lanyard around my neck, so have no place really to keep the ticket waterproof and don't want to rent a locker just for a park ticket.

I'm glad to hear it's still good and I too wish I have bought a bunch of those $99.00 tickets. If I had known how much park tickets were going to go up I would have. You can't beat 7 day 2 park tickets for $99.00. I'm afraid those days are long gone.

oops, duplicate post

Don't forget to go to guest services inside the park to convert to tickets that will scan at the turn stile

My 7 day ticket coding would not scan
Had to go to gs for passes that would scan at the gate

We got super lucky once - we had tickets from the superbowl promotion which I think were 5 day tickets. For reasons I won't get into they extended our tickets but when we went to exchange them they said they didn't have 5 day tickets anymore so they gave us a 4 day and a separate 1 day! Obviously, that was so much better as we used the 1 day on a subsequent Disney trip. Perhaps they can give you a 4 and a 3!
