So we have 10 water park and more visits left from non expiring tickets. I think they are from 2008. What do I have to do to be able to use them? We are going to the beach but want to take a day to go to a waterpark so I can't stop at a hotel concierge to help. I do have magic bands from our Jan trip but not sure that will help. Anyone have any experience? I'm not sure with all the changes the old tickets will still work. Tia!

Are they the plastic cards with magnetic strips? If you could find time to go to guest services they could give you new cards.

I had the exact same situation and went to guest svcs where they put the unused days onto a hard plastic card. Unlike the old plastic coated paper card, the new card will require a fingerprint scan to be added the first time I use it.

They are the plastic tickets with the strip on the back. Is there a guest service at the water park or is my best bet the one at Disney Springs? We will have to that morning before the water park since we are staying at a hotel on the Gulf side.

Correct.
But, just to keep things clear… that operation will be totally automatic (and happen in the background) when you enter the gates the first time
with the new tickets and scan your finger.

AND, if you will add the ticket numbers of the new plastic tickets to your MyDisneyExperience files,
if and when you have and use MagicBands, the tickets will be accessible via a scan of those MBs.

So just got off the phone with a cm at disney and he said any ticket window can change the tickets over to the new tickets. I hope that's correct! I will be disappointed if the ticket window sends me to guest relations!

Yes, ticket booths can do the trade...
But, they (Tickets and Guest Relations) are both side-by-side at nearly all locations, anyway.
