If you book on cash, yes. If on points, no.

My wife remembers it being every 4 days on points but can't recall of it was a full clean or just bringing fresh towels.

For DVC Properties booked on points, for a 7 night stay you receive Trash & Towel service on day 4. For stays 8 or more nights on points you receive a full clean on day 4 & Trash & Towel on day 8 & repeat every 4 nights. You can pay for additional service if you choose.
For stays paid with cash you receive daily service.

DVC is a timeshare - not a hotel. Services come out of members dues.
