Old Key West studio, how far out

Looking at the possiblity of a studio at OKW for the 2nd week of December 2013,was ondering are these very easy to get at 6 or 7 months out.

I wouldn't say that any DVC resort at WDW is easy to get at that time period even right at the 7 month window.

If you are an owner, I'd definitely book my home resort (assuming it is at WDW) exactly at the 11 month mark, then try to switch at 7 months.

If you are renting points, I'd try to find an OKW owner to make the reservation at the 11 month mark.

Of course, you are talking almost two years away. So no rush on this until early in January of 2013.

We spent 4 nights at OKW. Sun-Wed night the second week of December, We booked at the 7 month mark, We were lucky to get in because we were flexible on the days.

Maybe its the time of the year for you. When we are going is a really high DVC demand time, so I will be contacting my rental broker before the 11-month mark.
Really wanting AKVs, so I will probably go with that over OKW, but you never know.
