No pics from those areas here, but you could get a LOT of different views. If you end up in buildings 14-11, the views will be woods and a very seculded golf view. If you are in the Peninsular Road buildings, you will generally have great golf views unless you are in some areas of building 26.

Thanks, Pat ! :)

I forgot about my photopost account - so here are a few more OKW photos - many from the HH area and a few of Building 46 taken from across the Trumbo Canal on the way to DD:

Sorry no pics but we stayed in OKW last Christmas, was out 1st stay there, very nice very relaxed. We were in building 64 kinda across the street from HH, we REALLY liked it. The Studio was HUGE:thumbsup2

these pics have got me super excited, its the DVC resort I have wanted to stay at since we joined and we are in may can't wait! Thanks everyone for the pics!

Doc, thank you for sharing your pictures... they are just what i needed today! do you recall what building you were in when you took them?? it was actually some of your previous posts that helped us decide to stay there!:flower3:

The first photo in the first post is of Bldg 23 - taken from what was the Commodore House (original sales center). Bdlg 62 is now located in that area. The 2nd photo is from Bldg 18 - looking across the same lake towards Bldg 23.

The 4th photo was taken from the balcony of Bldg 26, across the fairway towards the Turtle Pond area and Bldg 33. The 5th photo was taken from the entry roadway across the island green with Bldgs 64 and 15 in the background.

The 1st and 5th photos in the second post are both of Bldg 46 taken from across the canal (behind Bldg 55) on the way towards SSR/DD.

I thought the first picture looked very familiar. The trees are a bit bigger now! I took these from bldg 62 in Dec. These were taken on different days and the first one was taken much earlier in the morning. It was our first stay at OKW and we'll definitely be back!

The fountain is very pretty at night - this isn't the best picture (should have used a tripod) but here it is.

You guys are killing me! :lmao:

I haven't stayed at OKW since Dec 2006. We decided to make the DVC rounds, and I'm having withdrawals. OKW and SSR are my favorites. I told DH that I don't care when we go next year, we're staying at OKW!!! :goodvibes

Doc, thank you for the link, and Kathy what gorgeous pictures you have taken of the resort. Thank you for the nightime view of the fountain and of the hospitality house area. I just love the foliage, palm trees and flowers.... it just says "Florida" to me! And after a cold and icy winter here in PA I am looking forward to everything the resort has to offer. August can not come soon enough! 12 nights which is our longest stay yet.... so I will really have an opportunity to enjoy everything the property has to offer.:lovestruc
