Right now, we're getting ready for all the rain. The wind has started picking up in the past hour. We're 2 hours SE of WDW, on the east coast.

Just tried to call OKW, no answer. I can't even begin to imagine how busy they are at the resorts - especially since it now looks as though Charley is headed their way.

Didn't notice you were in Jensen Beach! Take care yourself as the storm heads out your way.

I saw a news report showing a hotel (looked like maybe the Hyatt in Orlando) and they said they had turned away literally thousands with phone calls. Could be OKW is very busy with a skelaton crew and/or trouble with the phone lines already. Doc just reported that he's okay in WDW -- I bet your friends are, too. Kind of unusual that WDW looks like it will take a hit this time.

We're not doing too badly here, thankfully.

We've had constant rain for about the past hour and the wind is starting to pick up. I just checked weather.com and it looks like we'll just have rain through the night with 25 mph.
