We stayed two years ago and we are staying again in October on rented points. Its a beautiful quite resort....

OKW is our home resorte with DVC, so I'm biased.

OKW has the largest villas in all of DVC. In a 1 br or larger villa, the balconies have tables for 4 as well as the dining areas. In 1 br or larger villas, there is a full sized washer and dryer as well as a fairly well equipped full kitchen,

There are shuffle board courts, ping pong tables, basketball courts and tennis courts.

At Community Hall, there are DVD's and games available.

At Hank's, you can rent boats and sports equipment.

Besides the main pool, there are 3 additional "community" pools with a snack bar at one of them.

If you're in a studio, there are free washers/dryers at the pools.

Barbeque grills are available (first come, first served) at the quiet pools.

Buses to the parks are dedicated to OKW only, but I don't know how long it is to each park.

Anything I left out will be added (by me or someone else) later.

Thanks- is it really spread out- like walking to pools or bus stops- I am helping a friend who has never been to disney- they have 4 kids ages 5-11 and I don't think they want to be walking a ton within the resort-

Glad to hear they have their own bus- does it still run every 15 or so minutes

We have stayed twice at OKW and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Grand Villas and it gave us so much room that we never felt like we had 7 people! We have always stayed in villas close to bus stops so the walks were not bad. the kids loved the walks to the pool (especially the one with the sand castle slide) They were disappointed last time that we stayed at Saratoga Springs (loved it once we got there though!). I would highly recommend OKW!

Our favourite resort - my teens always want to stay there since there's so much to do and it's so beautiful. We spend a lot of time on our patio reading and playing card games - also have a full size dining table in the 1 & 2 bedroom for meals or game time together. Buildings 24 and 33 have great water/golf views together - perfect for bird watching and feeding the ducks!
There is a boat to DTD that is relaxing and beautiful.
