We love South Pointe for the quiet, the cul de sac rooms (52-56) are great, there's a quiet pool and laundry right there, and the bus stop is at the end of the road. That's the "end" of the resort, so the ride to and from the parks is about the same (there's 3 other stops along the way).
We like Turtle Pond if you want to hang out at the quiet pool and be near a snack bar as well. There's also shuffleboard there which is a lot of fun. That stop is in the middle of the resort.
When we stay at OKW, we use the bus most of the time. When we stay at other resorts, we tend to drive, but the service at OKW is terrific, and the park stops are usually the closest to the park entrance, i.e. shortest walk from bus to park and back.
The quick service options at the Main Pool and Turtle Pond are great, not as "limited" as others have said, it's just not a food court like at the values and Moderates.
The Gurgling Suitcase is a wonderful pool bar. There's a few tables and bar stools, and I've never gotten a bad bartender there. Olivia's is terrific, a great array of foods and the breakfast is particularly great.
Other than having to use the stairs at most of the buildings, there's nothing negative I would say about the OKW experience.
