When we were at OKW about a month ago for dinner at Olivia's I noticed construction in the area behind Community Hall and to the left of the General Store. It was dark but from what what I could see there looked like a new building with a roof. Does anyone know what is going on? I am hoping an enclosed quick service area.

That would be awesome. It’s the main reason we don’t stay there. Need quick service.

They have two quick service restaurants at OKW. Goods to Go and the Turtle Shack.

A upgraded Quick Service would be a welcomed addition. We've been owners there since 1993 and back then we certainly prepared more meals in the kitchen. Now, with adult children, they look for other options as do my wife and I. We still do some cooking in the unit, but it's also nice to have options like what's offered at SSR, BLT or WL.

When I was there in December, the Community Hall had a construction wall inside, cutting the size to half. CMs wouldn't tell me what was going on, other than "construction,"
and that the Community Hall will be the same size once the construction is over.

it would be nice to have an enclosed qs-i love artist palette at SSR for that reason. the little kids can be up early and out without disrupting anyone.

Artist Point isn't at SSR. It's at Wilderness Lodge and is a table service dining facility. You mean Artist's Palette, which isn't bad. Except for being open to the SSR store. It would have been nice to have a separate dining facility and store like OKW. I don't like that you have to bring your food up to the same counter where you bring your t-shirt and other clothing items to pay for them.

If I remember correctly, you pay for your order before you actually get your food.

Can I just ask about OKW cs please? If we went out for the day (eg to Busch Gardens) and wanted to take food with us, would the cs outlets at OKW wrap a sandwich up for us ‘to go’? I know we can make them in our villa but we’re on the ddp and will have lots of cs credits left over if we do that. Thanks.

They have some sandwiches on the menu, but they'd probably put them in a Styrofoam container, not wrap them up. But if you had your own wrappers (like bags, saran wrap, etc), you could wrap them up yourself. There should be prewrapped sandwiches in the store, but I don't think you can use CS credits for them.

Thank you. Containers like that would be fine but I might pop some bags in my suitcase as well :)
