old enough to date??

Whats the age that your parents think your old enough to date. I'm not talking bout A Jr. High boyfriend, I mean an actual boyfriend. That you go places with and hang out with. The age limit for me is 14. I'm fourteen right not, so I'm able to have a boyfriend! I was just wondering what age limit it is for your family?

My parents never ever set a limit on me.
Nor my brother.
They just kind of figured we'd get one when we're ready. My brother had his first one in grade 9. Or maybe 10. They were on and off for years, and then he had another in his senior year.

Anyways, I can date whenever I want I suppose.

High school is a good time, but you shouldn't be waiting until you're in it. I mean if you like someone and they like you back and you're in eigth grade, don't tell them to wait a year.. because they probably won't wait.

I had my first "boyfriend" in 5th grade. That lasted a week. It was one of those "OMG I have a b/f!" It was really dumb.

I had my first real boyfriend in 6th grade. We went to the movies, hung out at parties, talked on the phone, etc. etc. It was a good relationship.

I act really weird around guys, I find myself talking about how much i hate our agendas and how tacky they are

and i talk really fast and i giggle sometimes...uggggg except for the crush i hve now..hes different i can just be myself...except for when they know i like them..then its really weird..its like "Uh hi.."

i was fourteen when mike and I got together. he was fifteen, then he turned sixteen and I turned fifteen, now he turned seventeen and i'm turning sixteen.

we started young I guess, to be so serious. but hey, its not the age, its when the time/people are right for one another. it'll happen on its own, and when it does, its a beautiful thing.

don't over analyze it by putting limits and rules. just let it happen.

She actually has wanted me to have a boyfriend in the 7th grade.

My set limit is 15/16 though.

My parents didn't set a limit. I started going out with my boyfriend when i was 15.

Three Years later (almost to the day) we are still together, all my parents say is that they wish i'd met him later, cause he's wonderful. They really like him, so they were worried that a teenage relationship wouldn't last.

If you feel confortable and ready for a realtionship, go for it. But i wouldn't go behing my parents back if they didnt like it.
