Old Disney Park photos

My guess would be Living with the Land, because it looks like plants, but that's just a guess.

These two are Journey Into Imagination.

This one is Kitchen Kabaret, from The Land.

According to Wikipedia, it ran until 1996:

I remember seeing it with my wife in 1995 during our honeymoon and many times on our frequent family vacations when I was a kid. I can't tell you what the parade was in 1999 when we went there for our 4th anniversary. The music for Main Street Electrical Parade was "Baroque Hoedown" which is my favorite piece of Disney Music ever. Took me forever to find a copy. Brings a smile to my face and takes me back to my childhood whenever my iPod decides to play it.

We went in May of 1997 and 1999. Both times Spectro. I LOVE Spectro, but never saw the electrical one to compare. I love Spectro's music too.

I have a picture of my sone with a Shamu like that, but from the Sea World in Ohio, back when it was open.

Love the Circus World pictures!!! I have memories of riding the elephants with my Grandmother - been trying to find the picture but unsuccessful so far. We still have a poster from Circus World up in my childhood playroom.

The Fantasy Follies????? Where was this held - anyone know?

I have pictures of the Fantasy Follies but from Disneyland, could it be that it was taken at Disneyland? I dont know if their was a Fantasy Follies in WDW???.....

For the people that were Main Street Electrical Parade fans, it's currently being performed at Disney's California Adventure. Also, They Might Be Giants recorded a new version of the Baroque Hoedown for the Disney Mania 2 CD a couple of years ago. The entire, full-length audio for the parade is on Disc 6 of A Musical History of Disneyland. :thumbsup2

Forgot to mention that I took a 7 second clip of Baroque Hoedown and made it the main ringtone on my iPhone. When my wife calls, the ringtone switches to Kim Possible's kimmunicator ringtone. I love the look on kid's faces when it goes off in a public space. They start looking around as if expecting to see Kim somewhere. :rotfl: Yeah, I'm a Disney geek.

Oh my gosh..I totally have the Kimmunicator tone for my text messages right now. I love it!:yay:

The pictures from the Main Street Electrical Parade were from August of 1999. I remember that because it was summer before my Senior year.

I got to see the parade again in Disneyland this past April (except now it's called "Disney's Electrical Parade")! I was so excited because that was one of my favorite parades as a kid!!!

And you can buy a CD of the music at DL, which I assume can also be ordered via mail order from there.

:sad2: I'd never thought I would sound so old but here goes:

Those were the good ol days. When it cost us $31 a day to get in to the Magic Kingdom.

(P.S. They just raised it again to $71 for a one day one park pass! :scared1: )
