Old Disney Park photos

For Father's Day this year I am scanning my Dad's slides as part of his present and I came across some MK photos from 1985.

OMG I remember the 20000 leagues under the sea!! I loved it!

Great pictures everybody....My husband found a picture from 2003,the first time we went together. It is a picture of him and Donald and the Donald's eyes are so creepy lol. I have to post it...he just looks so dated. It was only 5 years ago but our pictures from Disney look so old lol.

Ok the BDay cake castle is God forsaken horrible lol!!! OMG it's bad.

Okay! I have got some great Disney family photos - though I am not sure if they were taken in DL or DW. We would alternate each year.
Sorry they are so big!

Oh my goodness!!
I must say that all of these pictures are so lovely!! It is alot of fun to look at them and to see what the parks used to look like.
Thanks everyone for sharing!!

Before the MVMCP's the only extra Christmas item was a dinner show held at the Contemporary's Conference Center.

My family and I went to this when I was around 12 years old! :rotfl: I remember it very well! We thought it was awful and most of the entertainment was them just putting video of the guests on a screen. It was over-priced and I remember being picked up by a large bus to be taken to the event. Oh, what lovely Disney memories!

I found some more of me & my Grandma from 1973.

At that time you could ride the double decker bus up & down Main Street.

Keep those pictures coming...love this thread!!!:thumbsup2

Great pictures!!!

You can still ride the double decker bus. We did that for the first time this past trip! 32 visits, and I JUST this year rode the bus!

No old Haunted Mansion pics, anyone?

I'm hoping my mom brings our old Disney pics tomorrow! I called her and told her to search for them!

LOVE this thread! So many memories - it makes me sad to see some things that are long gone. I'll try to dig out some of our older ones, but I have to get a scanner. Keep them coming, this is great!

Eventer - do you do 3-day eventing? Is that the reason for your sig?

I used to a little bit in 1998 but my horse developed ringbone and that put an end to it. I bought another horse in 2003 (who I just had to sell :sad2: ) but he hated jumping so we dabbled in Western. Do you ride/event?? If you event I give you credit..I am MUCH too wimpy to do it now....I used to ride jumpers when I was a teen and even a small jump now makes me nervous!!! :rotfl:

I'll contribute. Not the best pics, but I scanned them for my PTR. The most noticeable thing is Mickey's "people hands". Circa 1974.

That's me on the carousel.

I haven't been in 11 years, so y'all will have to let me know what's changed since the 70's, if you can tell anything from these pics.

I love this thread so much! I know I posted this pic well over a year ago..but it still cracks me up so here it is again..!

Here is 10 year old me with my cool Fisher Price camera and my brother in his oh so sexy short mickey shirt and knee socks! TOTALLY 1986!
