I thought I would Sweet'N up this post with some of the cake ideas i've been looking at.

My mom's favorite cake is a Butter Cream Frosting, white cake with raspberry filling. The tart raspberries balance the sweet cream so YummY!

So the pink would be white and the white would be pink

i like the white chocolate slipper on this cake.

The last one is pretty but sometimes colored frosting tastes FuNkY.

What size of cake do you all recommend ordering?
I like to serve generous pieces and I want there to be some left over for my mom later in the room. Cuz birthday cake always tastes better in your pjs

I made this cake for Maddie's birthday last year.


I like them all...especially the middle one.

AlrightY..then we've decided on the middle one

Now...i'm trying to decide what to do about costumes for TOT.

Is the weather hot or cool at that time of year at the park?

What is everyone going to do or be?

Beth...what did you see alot of last year?

Thanks! I saw the cake last year on the Disney Family website. It looked like a pretty easy one.

I am still up in the air about costumes. I may just have Mads dress up and Dh and I will be tourists from Idaho.

I am still up in the air about costumes. I may just have Mads dress up and Dh and I will be tourists from Idaho.

Dress up like fries or potatoes.....

I think pirates would be cool.
Jordan I am sure won't dress up. hmmm...maybe I could bribe him???

Mmmmm, cake!!

Dawn, that time of year, the weather is pretty up in the air. It can be hot during the day and chilly at night. Last year, it was still warm enough in the evenings that we were fine in short sleeves, or long, sheer sleeves depending on the costume.

I saw lots of Disney costumes of course. Surprisingly not too many were dressed up.


January, Ruben is thinking of being a tourist! LOL He has this really funky shirt that has drinks all over it, and just screams tourist. So I told him he could wear that with shorts, some socks and flip fops, a camera, a hat and some sunblock on his nose, and voila, instant tourist.

I didn't like costumes even when I was a kid, so most likely I will wear a fun Halloween t-shirt. I would say most kids, but maybe 25% of the adults were in costumes last year.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The kids were almost all dressed up, but not many adults.
