What do you feel about changing old character attractions to newer ones?

I think it is necessary. While I love the nostalgia of some rides and attractions, I think progress needs to move forward.

I do hope that Disney somehow preserves those old rides, even if just in a "Circle vision 360" kinda way. I do view some of the old rides on you tube sometimes, showing my children what they missed be being born too late. Maybe, someday Disney will allow us to virtually "ride those rides again.

Some things are timeless, but, I do think some things do just get old. Yes, I love the Indiana Jones Stunt Show, but it is based on forty year old movie. Next door, they have been able to update Star Tours, both with 3D effects, and now a mix of a bunch of stories. You can ride it over 50 times and not get the exact same ride twice. Next to that is Muppet Vision 3D, a thirty year old show, based on a TV show that is over 45 years old. Again, a show that I like, but I could understand if they updated it. i would bet a large percentage of those attending have never seen the original Muppet Show.
