Old AP Voucher Trade In Experiences?

I hesitate to even open this can of worms, but here goes:

Back before they changed the renewal policy for APs (anyone remember the date? )to where the renewal started immediately, I renewed 3 APs. A few months later I redeemed them, and the CM let me know that the policy had changed, but I was grandfathered in, and my AP would be good for a full year.

I still have one AP voucher remaining, that I'm planning to redeem in December. Anyone had any experiences with redeeming pre-policy change vouchers lately?

I'd be curious to know the answer to this as well. I have a pre-change AP voucher as well.

I renewed my APs in May 2000 before the change and turned in the vouchers in December. The Cast Member advised that he should have put the renewal date on the APs but would put the December date instead. I asked if this was because I renewed my APs before the new renewal policy was put in place and he said that the policy had been in place all along, they just chose to begin enforcing it last year. I thanked him for his kindness and laughed as I walked away. Being that it has been over one year now, I really don't know what they will do. Your voucher doesn't say anthing about a time limit to activate, so I really don't think Disney will turn you away. My guess is they will want to make you happy and I know how angry I would be if I paid for the renewal and wasn't able to get it!!

Good Luck!
