old ap voucher question

I have two AP DVC vouchers from 2012. When I turn them in at Disney what will I receive? The Gold or the Platnum AP? Thank You

You should get Platinum APs.

I did this just recently with some old vouchers from 2011 or so. I had read here on the DIS that we should be issued Disney Platinum Passes. I was confused at first because the physical passes we were handed were gold in color so I asked the CM to verify that the passes have no black out dates and that photo pass is included and she confirmed that that is what we got. I later looked up my tickets in MDE and they are listed as platinum passes.

Be prepared to spend a looooong time at the ticket window when you exchange your vouchers. The CM we got was very confused about what to do with vouchers that old and had to call someone to come over to the ticket booth to help out. It took at least 20 minutes to get our passes.

Before taking your vouchers to the ticket window, did you "link" them on my disney experience? We also have old vouchers and I am not sure how to use them.

We also have an old photo pass receipt that we never used and I need to research if it is still good or if I just wasted our money buying it.

Yes I linked the old vouchers on MDE prior to our trip so that I could set up some fast passes.

I had a DVC AP voucher from December 2014 that I activated in December 2015. I got a platinum pass.
