Headed into DCA tomorrow,Olaf and RSR are high on the list, so what is our best line of attack? RSR fast passes and then over to Olaf? Shouldn't be too crowded of a day I hope and no MM that I see....

I would think if you went straight to Olaf it would be fairly quick. Then you could get RSR passes later. We haven't been since Olaf's been there, but usually we ride Toy Story first and then get RSR passes. They don't run out in less than an hour like when the ride first opened. No early entry at DCA tomorrow it's at Disneyland. Remember the gates typically open 30 minutes before the park. So if it opens at 9am, get there by 8:30am and you should be able to wait outside the rope to Hollywoodland.

At this point, I think it's a matter of flipping a coin. Both are popular, but from what I understand Olaf is now using a Return Ticket system (instead of the pager system). So, it depends on whether you want an afternoon or evening return time for RSR (Olaf's M&G is indoors, so it won't look different in the daytime or nighttime). If you wanted an early RSR return time, I would head there first. If you wanted a later return time, I would go to Olaf first. RSR FPs are lasting longer now, but I would still aim to be there within the first 90 minutes of park opening. With Soarin' currently closed, it seems to have put more pressure back on RSR FPs (they were lasting up to 2 or 3 three hours, but lately it seems like 1.5 to 2 hours is more common).

Good to know. I'm glad Soarin' will be open again during our trip. It opens the day before we get there, so maybe a bunch of people will head there and leave us some RSR FP. :D

We were at California Adventure last Friday and there were still Radiator Springs FPs available after 1:30 p.m. (for very late in the evening). We rode Radiator Springs once as soon as we got there (it was EMH and we headed straight there at rope drop). Around 9:30-10 a.m. I was able to pull a Radiator Springs FP that was timed for after our WOC lunch reservation (I think the window was 12:50 to 1:50 and I actually stalked outside the FP machine entrance for a while while DD and DH did a ride so that the time would tick up enough to not conflict with lunch). As we headed to use that FP we were able to pull another one that was good starting at 8:30 p.m. We planned to ride before heading to WOC but the ride went down for the rest of the night:sad1:. Would've been fun to ride it in the dark but we were so happy that we managed to get two rides in during the day.
