Apparently there is an Olaf Magic Shot at Epcot, does anyone know if you can get it anywhere at DLR?

My daughter got one at HS 2 weeks ago. A CM told her to ask a Photopass photog there as they were testing it only at HS. It is cute!

Can't hurt to ask the PP photographers at DL!

I think they mean the Hollywood Studios section of California Adventure.

Often we get WDW posters who don't realize they are posting to a DLR thread... they just look up "most recent posts" option and then answer the question before checking to see that this is the DLR threads, so it is possible/likely that they are refering to HS at WDW. If they were refering to DCA I think they wold have specified that.

To OP, I hope they have the Olaf magic shot at DLR that would be really cool!

I saw a photo of the Magic Shot and its a fun one. Hopefully someone else can chime in who has experienced or seen if. If not perhaps ask on the Photopass Facebook page. The monitors of the Photo Pass Facebook Page are usually really good at answering questions pretty quickly.

Disneyland does now have the Olaf magic shots.
We were there last week. My son got the Olaf shot in the front entrance and again from the photographer near the Sword in the Stone. (Apparently the photographer by the Sword can also do a shot with Chip).

I'm new to posting so I don't think I can share my photos yet.

Great news jaitken925!! Would love to see it when you get a chance!

You just need to upload your photo(s) to a photo sharing site. Many people including myself use photobucket. Once you upload the photo to the site of your choice, copy and past the IMG code into your post here on the DIS.

As soon as I am able, I will post the photos.

Need to find a way to get up to 10 posts before I can.

With this post I am up to a total of 2 ... 8 more to go!

Aww I REALLY hope I don't forget about magic shots!!! and I REALLY hope we can find the Olaf one!!!

Ok ... lets see if I was chatty enough over the last few days to make the photos work ...

I have 2 magic shots of my son with Olaf.
He's 3 1/2 and didn't really understand the photographers instructions of putting his arms up in the air. The result is I have one photograph with his "airplane" arms (this one was taken at the park entrance) and another where he looks like he is waiting for raindrops to fall on his head (this one was taken by the Sword in the Stone photographer).

After seeing the Olaf image, I now understand how the photographer had likely wanted him to pose - something to mirror what Olaf is doing.
Since this is new, I hope the photographers get better at explaining the pose. If not, take note how Olaf is positioned and make sure your family does something similar!

Edited ... photos did not work ... I'll have to read more on how to get them uploaded.

Use the "insert image location" button above where you type text. It's a yellow button with mountains on it. Then copy your image url when the box pops up. I think I right click my image (from your photosite, photobucket, etc) and select copy image location. Make sure the http:// is only in there once. Hope that helps. It's hard to explain!

Ok ... trying again ...
