OKW vs. SSR - which do you prefer?

We’ve stayed at SSR twice now and it’s a solid resort, but we’ve never stayed at OKW. Are we missing anything at OKW or is SSR more popular? Let me know which one you prefer, personal pros/cons of each. Thanks for your help!

If given the choice, I would choose SSR, simply because of the walk to Disney Springs. I enjoyed my stay there. I have never stayed at OKW though.

I prefer OKW. I like have 2 actual beds vs. a bed and a pull out sofa. I also like the theming for OKW better.

OKW - because of the two beds in a studio. I also love Olivia's and the theming.

Definitely OKW for us. The rooms are larger and nicer, the real beds are a big plus in the studios, and we prefer the feel of the resort. No question, the proximity to DS can be a plus for SS - if you're room isn't on the other side of the resort.

OKW for sure. (note my screen name).

OKW is more laid-back atmosphere and quieter. The lower density make this a get away from it location.

You can walk from OKW as well. The route takes you to the Circqe end of DS

I'll clarify my comment: I enjoy both, but SSR is a bit higher on my list because of the shorter walk to DS (Congress Park specifically).

Thanks for all the input! We do love the proximity to DS from Saratoga, gotta love that five minute boat ride to the middle of the Springs. But we also live trying new resorts which OKW would be for us. Think we are leaning OKW for now!

I think the only stop now is over by the landing, not far from Boathouse. It's a really nice boat ride from OKW, too - maybe 10 minutes. It's a very relaxing trip.

Thanks! I know the port Orleans resort boats drop at the marketplace, but I prefer the landing. Love that boat ride
