OKW vs SSR - help!

So I need to choose between these two and never having stayed before, I am getting a bit bogged down on information as to which to go for. I believe they are both recently refurbished.

I’m planning to book a studio for 3 nights with arrival a transfer from another on-property hotel and departure will be by bus to the airport.

Which of these resorts can offer studios as short a walk as possible to the boat launch to Disney Springs? Are both of them elevator access? (I have some mobility issues, so given I’d be walking around Springs all day am wanting to minimize resort walking)

Any recommended requests to make? (A friend said Congress Park at SSR was good). What are other points that make you love/hate one or the other?

SSR refurb is recent. OKW a few years. Not sure on each boat location other than at our home resort OKW, it’s at the Hospitality House. Both resorts are spread out. OKW is very limited on the elevator buildings. Request there or a ground floor villa. Locations to ask for at OKW would be nearest to HH on Miller’s Rd or another area liked by many is Turtle Pond. SSR has the pull down coach/murphy bed. OKW studios have the two queens.

Remember - elevator building is request only at OKW (and IIRC there’s only 3) - there’s no guarantee - all the SS buildings have elevators.

Both of these resorts are giant beasts. You could be right on the boat launch or WAAAAAAY far away. If you want to minimize walking, I'd pick a smaller hotel. Even a not terribly close one and take the bus. Or the Hilton right there (Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista). It's actually closer than Saratoga. Then transfer with an Uber to the new resort -- you can't have Disney transfer your bags from the Hilton.

OKW has few elevators. You can request ground floor, but they don't have to give it to you. It's technically possible to book an accessible DVC unit.
