OKW vs. BCV (playground, etc.)

I'll keep this short and sweet. We're trying to decide between a OKW and BCV studio. We are two adults, & 3 kids (13, 4 & 2). Space is an issue, but I believe they're both the same. I think that BCV will be better for space (due to fold out couch vs bed), better pool and proximity to parks. However I think that it doesn't have a playground right?? My kids would really enjoy a playground! I realize that I'll save some money going with OKW, so that would enable us to get Plus tickets and go to a water park or two. I am torn - as if you can't tell!

I heard that OKW has programs where the kids can do various activities like crafts, or an "unbirthday party" etc. Is this also at BCV and is this free or not? I was told it's a free service but the person who I'm getting points from, but this is all new to me, so I'm just trying to compare the two parks.

OKW has several playgrounds - one at each pool.

BCV does not have a community hall - which is where most of the children's activies take place at OKW - but I think they do have activities at BCV in the kid's clubhouse during the day????

OKW has 2 queen beds

BCV has 1 queen bed and a double sleeper sofa.

I am not sure about BCV not having a playground????

there is not one showing in the maps - but most DVC resorts have a playground.

some of the children's activities are free - some requirement payment (cash) - just depends upon they are doing.

Unfortunaly, it doesn't. It should, it would be a nice addition. The BC playground isn't much to speak of.
