OKW trip 9/15-9/19

We had a great four day weekend. Fantastic weather, light crowds and a great one br at OKW. Unit 3621, near Turtle Pond, it had new appliances and a DVD player. Trash and Towel was on day 3. The sofa bed had not yet been replaced, and the mattress was in pretty sad shape. We called Mousekeeping when we got back home and they said not all units had been switched out yet, and they would check on that unit.
TP pool was not crowded, except Saturday.

We noticed a ton of downed trees everywhere, not at OKW, but elsewhere on property.

Kids were pretty tired, as we came home late Sunday night, but were troopers Monday morning when they got up for school. It was a surprise trip, and they cried when we announced the surprise on the way to the airport (with Illuminations music in the background). It was very touching. (DD's 10,10,7)

Can't wait for Thanksgiving.

We forgot to look! Oh well. The only time we spent up front was going to the store ore checking in/out.

Joe, it sounds like you had a great time. I wish we could run off and do a surprise trip with the kids. Ours are usually planned for a long time in advance. Right now, DD8 has been out of school for a week because of Hurricane Ivan, and it looks as though it will probably be another week at least before they start back to school. I keep thinking, we could be a WDW and not be missing any school! Anyway, glad you had a good trip! Erin
