OKW to Typhoon Lagoon

First time staying at OKW next week...best way to get to Typhoon Lagoon? Boat vs Bus to DS for connection?

If you go boat, you have to walk clear across DS to get to busses whereas bus you are already there when you get off

I've stayed at the boardwalk and I went to TL before 10 and the bus driver brought me directly to TL. He said the busses to DS that leave before the park opening time can go straight to TL. After 10 you have to change.
Not sure if it's official policy at all resorts.

We got incredibly lucky. We got on the bus headed to DS, it was very early, we wanted to arrive at TL at opening. Only one person on the bus. We got to the HH, no one else got on and the driver asked where everyone was going, and since there were only 9 on the bus, he took us directly to TL. But heading back, we had to do the DS transfer.

Not sure if you have a car, but we always drive. It's a quick trip and depending on when you leave you may get to park upfront.

Was there last weekend. Car at OKW would have made moving around easier/quicker. Buses weren't bad, just the couple stops around the property add a bit of time and having to transfer at Springs each time was kind of annoying but we LOVED Typhoon Lagoon.

Depending on where you get on the bus at OKW, you might have to ride all the way around the resort as the bus goes to all of it's other stops. This can add a good 10-15 minutes to the trip, so you will want to plan accordingly.

So, possibly longer bus ride from OKW, or walk across DS. In the end, it's probably a wash time-wise.

Unless you're near the HH, it can be a walk to the boat. Don't expect walking across DS being quicker than riding the bus around OKW if you get on at the 1st stop.
