We are staying at OKW (our home resort) for the first time in August. We booked a studio not near HH, category. I requested South Point or Peninsular Road areas to try and avoid a room without widows and hopefully a decent view. Does this sound doable with these requests? We are not worried about location to HH and will be renting a car so bus stops are not a priority either.

Most OKW studios are at the end of the buildings. At the ends of the buildings there are a lot of trees and air conditioning units. I have stayed in 4 studios there. Buildings 49, 23, 45 and 14. The best view that we have had so far was building 14, which is a U shaped building. We were in one of the inside corner studios and it did have windows. The views from 45 were good. It’s hit or miss on how many trees there are.

The only studios without front windows are located in the crossbar of the "U" shaped (Type D) buildings. In all our years of going to OKW, we were only assigned one once. The type D are bldgs 14, 18, 35 and 38. 24 Studios, total. The studios in what would be the vertical arms of a "U" do have windows.

I didn’t look at the one next to me. So it’s just the bottom of the of the U with no windows.

It would only have the patio door for windows (and maybe the peephole on the door). The other full wall (where the window would normally be is now a shared wall with the studio next door).

We were in the studio going up from the bottom of the U. The windows were facing the walkway. From what I understand the only ones that have no windows are the ones on the bottom of the U. It goes S, 1, 1, S. Those studios have no windows. As you go up from the bottom of the U it goes S, 1, 2 on 1st and 2nd floor, 3rd goes S, 1 Those studios do have windows.

Not sure why when posting pics they turn sideways. I tried to edit is so it would show up the right way. I was really surprised one morning to see what was in view up in the air.AD42046D-8F29-4836-A508-DE4D8E047E51.png

This is the layout of the buildings shaped like a square missing one side. The studios are in the corners. We've gotten stuck in 18 and 35 twice in a stuido.
Type D buildings are all 3 stories.
1st Floor- 2,1,S,S,1,1,S,S,1,2
2nd Floor- 2,1,S,S,1 1 S,S,1,2
3rd Floor- 1,S,S,1 1 S,S,1
Buildings 14,18,35 and 38 are all Type D.

All the other buildings have studios at the ends of the building, except for 64 which has two lockoff two bedroom villas next to each other.
TypeF is a 3 story building.
1st Floor- S,1,2,2,1,S,1,S
2nd Floor- S,1,2,2,1,S,1,S
3rd Floor- S,1,2,2
Building 64 is the only Type F.

The circled ones will have windows. The group in the middle S,1,1S are the bottom of the U and do not have windows in those studios. As you go up from the bottom of the U it goes S,1,2 on the 1st and 2nd floor on both sides. The top floor does not have the at the end or top of the U.
