Looking at TouringPlans "room views" and it doesn't seem like there are any OKW studios with great views (unless I missed them)
Can anyone give any recommendations for a good studio in OKW based on other factors: Pool, dining, bus stops, quiet.

We stayed there in the spring. This was our 4th studio. It was in the HH category building 14. It was room 2222 or 2022 I think.

Studios are usually located at the ends of the buildings. So you might be surrounded by bamboo or other greenery. You might also have the AC units for the building right near your patio.

Yes lots of trees and AC units. It was nice staying in a OKW GV last fall. No AC units to listen to when on the balcony.

I find the same situation.

It took me a very long time, looking at an exhausting number of room views, but by about 1 am last night I found 11 studios with good views in Turtle Pond and 11 in Millers Road.

You know, but you won't get any of those eleven. You just need to book Millers Rd or Turtle Pond.

One general comment: I would recommend an 'internal' building, something away from the perimeter of the resort where highway noise can be loud. Some of the villas are very close to the roads, separated only by a little bit of vegetation, and the traffic noise can be very bothersome.

Unlikely to happen to you, but stay away from building 55. My deck/patio overlooked a water basin with a rather loud electrical generator that kicked on every few minutes. Earplugs and a white noise machine were my saving grace.

There are usually AC units right outside the studios. They. Turn on and off all the time. Could this be what you heard.

I know exactly what you are talking about. We stayed in the one bedroom next to that studio.

We always request 32-35 but we do two bedrooms when we go. Have been in 32 twice and 34 once. Sit back a little off the road and right by the bus stop. Funny thing is we don't request bottom floor but we always seem to get it.
