OKW studio availability

We are looking at OKW for next year and I put the details into Virgin Holidays and it is letting us book a studio for 2 adults and 3 kids 12,9,6. I thought OKW only allowed 2 adults and 2 kids with a baby into a studio. Does anyone know any different?

The studios are certainly only 4 plus a baby. OKW doesn't have any other beds to put in rooms so I am not sure what would happen if you booked.

For 5 you need a 1 bedroom at least.

Husbands are great fall guys - especially when they don't read the DIS :goodvibes That was a good price you've got. Have tried different date combos and the studio availability is there but just not for the dates we need. I will psych myself up and give WDW a call, in the hope that they can work some of that Disney magic, but as you said CO is there. Thanks for asking about Mum - she's on the mend, hopefully (until the next time....). It seems to depend which dates and how many days are chosen - as we already have flights booked we're committed to exact dates. We'll work something out - if all else fails we'll have to switch resorts. Anyhow, thanks to all of you who responded and tried to help, it's very much appreciated.

I tried the dates you gave and I can only get one or two bedroom villas.

My guess is unfortunately any studios are now booked on those days. Although it's a large resort only a small percentage is available under this offer. The bulk of the resort is owned by DVC members and is only available to them to book on points.

I went to book the studio on Complete Orlando and it had vanished, when I checked in by email they said studios are by request direct from Disney. Then availability turned up again this evening.

I'm going to call them tomorrow - running through the various options has given us cause to change our dates anyway.

We're going to try for 27th January for 9 nights, followed by 3 in Royal Pacific, and 4 in AK (same hotels as last time, we loved them all so much we can't persuade ourselves to give any up).

On a complete different tack, has anyone had any experience (or have heard of anyone who has) of using the 14 day tickets with magic bands - can you still get 15 days out of them?

Good luck with the booking!

On the 14 day tickets I think you can still use day 15 if you haven't used all 14 days previous.

Thanks Elise.

As we will be visiting the Dark Side for a few days, we should be alright then. We'll go with the assumption that we might not get in, and then if we do it'll feel like a bonus.

I'm sure you are all on the edge of your seats wondering about our booking :lmao:.....

So I thought I'd let you know you can breath now - was just browsing the WDTC site again and, hallelujah, studio availability appeared, for just a smidgen less than I was going to pay with Complete Orlando. So I booked immediately, yeahhhh.

I only have 12 weeks and 6 days to figure out my ADRs. :rolleyes1

I already have Jimmy Buffet running through my brain.

Thanks for helping :thumbsup2
