This from a boat driver today (I know, I know. But this IS believable).

When THV opens, OKW will have a dedicated boat to DTD, without stopping at SSR. Running every 20 minutes.

SSR will have a dedicated boat to DTD, with two stops at SSR: the current dock, and another dock at THV.

They do have enough boats to do this. We'll have to see if they actually make this change. If they do, I wonder if there will be any flexibilty, as som epeople do travel between the two resorts. Maybe they will alter the route "by request" like when, before SSR, they'd occasionally stop at Port Orleans or the Buena Vista Clubhouse (now the SSR dock) if someone from OKW requested to do so. But if we all still share a boat, that's OK, too.

I'm more concerned about the buses for the Treehouses. I hope they don't add them to the OKW routes, as the Treehouses are SSR, and their dues and booking priority is there, I just don't think it would be fair to add them to OKWs bus routes.

Chuck, I doubt they would do that. It would be hard to keep the 20 minute schedule if they stopped.

At one time, they would stop at Westside on request. They don't do that anymore. They just tell you to switch to the Westside boat at Marketplace.

Likewise, someone travelling between resorts could just boat to the MarketPlace, and then switch to the other boat.

This is good news. I heard yesterday that THV would have a boat dock.

I think it would be easy to divide the stops. THV and Grandstand could be combined making GS the last stop at SSR and then exit.

Then the SSR busses could go back to the old route before the GS was added with the Springs being the last stop before exiting. This would really alleviate the crowding and the Springs guest might get a seat.

Add more boats and more buses and the dues go up.
