OKW Slide/Pool hopping

Forgive me if this has been asked already...the monthly newsletter said that to "feel free to use the other three (resorts')pools available" with the construction of the slide. There is no pool hopping during Thanksgiving week (Nov 22-28), so OKW guests cannot go over to SSR during this week if they want a different pool other than the quiet pools that are available at OKW?

I need to know this because we have teenagers vacationing with us that will want to swim (me..no way...burr!!!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_3_9v.gif' border=0></a>) and will want a bigger pool than the quiet pools at OKW. If they can't, I think I will need to encourage them to go to Typhoon Lagoon for their swim fun!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_4_101v.gif' border=0></a>

Usually, when a pool is closed for rehab it's an exception to the regular pool hopping rules where they tell you a specific pool that you can use instead - not sure though if they are keeping the pool hopping to SSR effective during the black out dates or not but would think that it may be the ONLY exception. Being that OKW still had the turtle crawl pool, not sure if that will be the case. Maybe someone will come along and post who knows for sure.

turtle crawl will be opened - the newletter letter acted like the snack bar would be open more hours too - (this bar is open like 10 am to 4 to 6 pm) - so to expand its hours would be very nice!

I read that too - and despite OKW members have been told earlier that they could pool hop to SSR - I guess DVC decided not to go with this earlier decision.

the pool at SSR is not that much bigger than Turtle Crawl -

however teenagers like more excitment that either resort could provide - send them to TL or BB - which ever is opened.
