OKW slide email from DVC...

We at Member Services share your excitement anytime changes are made that

At this time we have no information about a slide. If substantive changes occur
at resorts, they will generally be announced on our website and through the
Vacation Magic publication.

Hmmm, very interesting response.

Guess DVC doesn't tell MS everything, either.

Maybe this info is on a "need to know" basis and MS doesn't need to know (until a firm "project complete" date is available).

Or maybe the project isn't a done deal yet.

Or maybe MS isn't ready to deal with all the members who plan to call and complain about it.

Or maybe ..........

It seems odd that they made public announcements at all the annual meetings (not just OKW) and now they say they "know nothing". I can understand that Member Services might not have the information but I would be disappointed if this type of answer came from Jackie Lueders (or her replacement).

Hmmm.....yet this is the email I received from MS on Jan 14, 2004:

Hello Maria,
Yes a slide is in the works for Old Key West. You can contact Old Key West
directly at 1510 North Cove Road, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830. Or you can
mail a letter to:Member Services 4th Floor 200 Celebration Place, Celebration,
Fl 34747.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

While no real details, the email I received definitely makes it sound like a "go" ?
