Okw Reservation-what To Request

I never made a reservation at OKW and I was wondering what I should request? We are planning our first trip there later in the year. I usually request a non-smoking room but what else? Are the newer buildings better? What type of views are there? We usually drive everywhere so being near the bus stop is not that important. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would stop at NS and see what you get since you drive. We have been all over the resort and each has its benefits. Same with the floor you are on. All depends on what you are looking for. DC and family likes to be on 1st floor to see wild fowl and feed them (please don't flame me for what they do!) Others like the top floors for quiet and the view. Some buildings have stairs and some elevators to 2nd and 3rd floors so if you don't like stairs keep that in mind.

SInce its your first trip I believe you need to decide what you and your family like and not the 1000 differing opinions that are out there.

I have to agree. There are really no horrible views. Some of the buildings (under 30) have no extra door into the bathroom from the laundry, while those over that number do. If you have anyone staying in the living room, You will want that. If you are on ground floor, you might have lots of vegetation around you. If you want an elevator, you need to request buildings 62,63 or 64. Most buildings are very easy access to a bus stop. Some are also close to the walkway to DTD. Some are closer to HH. You want to make your requests very general.

My suggestion is to request NS and think about the other things that are important to you.

There are no bad rooms at OKW-they all are in great locations. I never requested a location-about 15 trips and they all were great-just remember-smoking or non that is about it. I assume you are able to walk of course.
