Does anyone know if the studios are being refurbished with a pull-out and a bed, or are they leaving the two queens in the studios????

No, still two queen beds. It's too bad the other studios aren't like that. But they are much smaller and don't have the room for two real beds.

In memory of the late great Richyams from the DIS, let me make sure you heard what they said-OKW STUDIOS ARE MUCH BIGGER!!
And isn't it true that it says somewhere in our ownership documents that the OKW studios have 2 queen beds, so that configuration will never change.

The OKW studios are much larger than the other studios, especially the BLT studios. Those are like OKW closets.

Good to know they're keeping the two beds. We're in a two bedroom for Christmas this year, and we stay at OKW because the square footage is larger in all the units there. Thanks all!:santa:

The only studios that are larger than the ones at OKW are the ones at HHI, but even those still have the pull-outs in them.

If you are looking for the best combination of point savings and room size at WDW you can't beat the OKW studios IMO.

I am happy to hear that the 2 queens remain for those times when we may reserve a 2 bedroom lock-off at OKW for large family gatherings. I am glad that I never have to stay in an OKW studio, however, because I LIKE having a couch, rather than a bed, to sit on during the day. To me the 2 beds seem more like a regular hotel room and the bed/couch configuration seems more like a studio apartment. The choices various DVC resorts offer for different vacation styles and needs is indeed a real advantage of DVC ownership.

Yes, and that's why I book 1 bedrooms or larger at OKW and studios at AKV. I get the best of both that way!:thumbsup2

With the sofa/queen at 6 other onsite DVC resorts, I prefer the two queens at OKW for when we stay in a studio.
