OKW Questions.

We will be staying here in October for our first two nights and we are very excited. But I have question about the boat to DTD.

How late does it run ? And is it the same boat that runs between POR and POFQ ? I know I should remember it.... but I must be getting old.

If not..... what's the best way to get to POFQ from OKW if you don't have a car ? We'd like to go spend an evening with Elliot Dyson and Bob Jackson.

I do not know how late but I know it does run at night..
They are NOT the same boat you will need to go to DTD and then switch boats I also do not know if they even stop at the same boat dock anymore as now there are two..
But at least some info..

I believe the last boat at OKW runs at 1030 and both resorts were at the same dock in early February.

I think the OKW/DD boat stops running at 11pm. It does not go to POFQ as that is another boat entirely (same for SSR). If you plan to leave DD later than 11 I'd take a bus from DD to the other resort or just get a taxi.

I believe the last boat at OKW runs at 1030 and both resorts were at the same dock in early February.

They were not at the same dock in October 2010 or in March/April 2011.

The dock closest to the Irish Pub had the boats to OKW and SSR - this is 2 different boats most of the time that stop at the same dock area. My DH took the boat several times late at night and said his boat stopped at SSR before stopping at OKW.
The other boat that stops at the dock close to the Irish Pub was a shuttle boat that goes to the other dock, which is located near Rain Forest. I rode the boat on 3 round trips during our most recent trip and for all my trips, the boat to/from OKW docked only at this dock and went only to/from OKW.

Boats at the dock closest to Rainforest go to POR (Riverside and New Orleans on the same boat). There are also shuttle boats that go to the dock near the Irish Pub.
