Does anyone know if that pizza delivery is Disney (or some offsite place)? Do they take DP credits?

does everyone (who gets water delivered) order from Staples? We are Sams Club members (I think this is similar to Cosco?) and looked online and it would cost $12.00 (includes shipping) for 36 (?) bottles of water. I still have to look into Staples. When do you order it...2 or 3 days prior to getting there..what if it gets there before we do? Thanks for the input!

I never thought to order from some place other than Disney. Does the resort let outside companies come in?

We have ordered from Giordanos (best food) for several years now. Most recently last August. We got back from the parks late.....had the munchies....ordered at 11:10 pm and they were at our villa door at 11:55 pm. We have probably ordered from them 4 or 5 times since the summer of 2005 and they have always been let through the gates to deliver food.

If OKW ever has a problem with this, then they need to come up with an viable alternative for it's guests. We should have this option. I also own an offsite timeshare (Vistana) and we have villa delivery/room service there. The resort is set up just like OKW with different neighborhoods and 2 and 3 story villa buildings. But, we are allowed to order room service from the 3 restaurants there.

Without a food court and with Good's closing at 10 pm, I think they need to allow us to order from the outside. There is another snack stand at the Turtle Pond pool, but that is only open sporadically. Last August I checked that stand and it was closed. I happened to be staying in building 34 which was closer to that snack stand than Goods. But to be fair, the pool was closed too due to overcast skies and some sporadic lightening. Too bad if Disney can't come up with a way for us to order from OKW. Their loss. For now, Giordano's is a great alternative because it offers more than pizza (sandwiches, salads, soups, pasta dishes).

The link I posted earlier (the Sassagoula Pizza) is definitely disney. They are located in the food court of the POR resort. They offer room service to POR/POFQ/OKW since all these resorts are very close to eachother. Their pizza is not bad....but not as good as Giordano's imho.

Another question.

Building location...what should we try to get? We might be in a studio or we might be in a 1 bedroom if that makes a difference.

We are just in the beginning stages of researching this resort and trying to decide if we want to stay here or VWL.

We like staying at Turtle Pond area. But next time we hope to stay at South Point. No real reason, just a personal fondness for those areas.

Hi Lisa,
If you want to be close to the main pool/lobby/Olivia's/Goods, then request the Hospitality House area. Penninsular Rd area is also fairly close to these areas.

I always request "water view". I'm not picky with what neighborhood I get, I just like a pretty view. The studio ground floors will not have the best views because they tend to be on the ends of the buildings and surrounded by shrubbery/trees. The ground floor one bedrooms will not be affected usually. If stairs aren't an issue, I'd request an upper floor if you decide to go with a studio.
