OKW Pools - Showers???

We're taking a red-eye out from LA arriving on July 5th and get in at 6:00 AM. We are going in expecting to NOT have a room ready once we arrive. So, I was thinking about how using the pools might be a good way to pass the time and "wake" us up. When I mentioned it to DH, he thought it was a good idea too, and then asked, "But, do they have showers?" I remember seeing showers at both the SSR and VB pools and said that they should. But, I thought I should double check just in case.

Yes, there is a fitness room with showers at the main pool near the Hospitality House area. Taking a swim is a great way to spend time while waiting for your villa.

Thanks Doc! I'm sure DD will be excited when she learns the first thing we'll do is to go to the pool! She's always more excited when there's a pool involved...

First thing in the morning they clean the pool, shock the pool if it needs it, wash off the chairs/tables, hose off the pool deck. So you might not be able to start swimming until 9 or so. And the pool towels aren't rolled out until then either.

We usually take the red eye from Seattle and by the time we get coffee, get Magical Express, and get to the resort, it is about 8:30. The showers at OKW are very nice and we have done that 2 times now. It works great! Although, we usually shower and hit a park because 2 of us don't sleep well on planes. If we are at the park we just keep moving. We also have an early lunch reservation because the kids are very hungry that day. We leave the park about 4 and our room is ready. Early dinner and usually bed by 8. It works well for our family! Good luck and have fun! OKW is our favorite resort.
