OKW Pool?

We are not DVC members yet and I have been trying to describe or show pictures of the OKW pool to my family. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any pictures before the current renovations.

Will the renovations be big changes?

Any pictures or descriptions would be much appreciated.

very big - OKW is getting a Slide!!!

everything should be completely by Dec 22 and shortly after that I am expecting picture to appear here....

the slide will a sand castle.


remember that OKW has 3 other pools - they are not to be changed.

Adding a slide is pretty much the only thing they're doing to the pool, I think. Of course, they have other quiet pools if you prefer lounging without the slide noise/activity!

I took a picture of it today (12/24) but won't have a chance to post it until later. Meanwhile, here'a thread where I posted a picture from earlier this week. I do know now that it will not open until after the New Year, due to cold weather and rain delays.
