Sorry it took so long to get to this last full day; very busy weekend!

It's Friday morning and A and I are up about 6am. It's our tradition in my family to park hop everywhere the last full day, and A is more than willing to jump on that bandwagon! We hadn't heard M1 come in the night before, so I head out to the main room to make coffee. He has never returned, but all his stuff is still in the room. I wonder aloud what we're going to do, and A and I get dressed. By the time we're ready, Mom and Dad are up. A and I plan to head to MGM first and hit RNR and ToT. We're going to meet up with Mom and Dad at MK for lunch and a few rides, and then finish up at Epcot. We have PS at the Flying Fish at 6:30pm, so we plan just to walk to the Boardwalk from Epcot. A and I are ready to head out so we say goodbye to Mom and Dad and gather hats and sunglasses and backpacks. Mom stops me at the door and says, "Promise me that if you go out there and find him sleeping in his car you will walk right by him without a word. Don't even stop." This is VERY unlike Mom, but I think she has about had it. Plus, she sees how upset A and I are. So I promise her and we head out. Neither M1 or his car are evident, so we hit the busstop for MGM.

At this point, we are starting to talk about how A is going to get home. I tell her I can get her a plane ticket and we'll see if we can get her on our flight. Dad (remember: best guy in the world!) had already stopped me the day before (even before M1 had disappeared) and told me to discuss with A the fact that he would buy her a plane ticket home, no strings attached, to save her from that road trip. He'd already checked with the airline and there were vacancies on our flight. She's uneasy about accepting that, but is beginning to realize that she may not have a choice.

We have our longest wait at ToT all week, but it's still only 20 minutes. We then hit RNR and our picture is so good I buy it. We wander around MGM for a little while longer and A spots the line to take a pic with Lilo and Stitch. We get in line and the cast member with them says they will be going to enjoy coconut cakes and coffee very soon. We manage to be the last people up before their break. A gets next to Lilo and I get next to Stitch. I have a small backpack on and Stitch spends the entire time I'm up there trying to get into it. Our picture ends up hysterical, with me trying to get away from Stitch and his hand in my backpack.

After that we bid goodbye to MGM and take the bus over to the Contemporary, where we grab the monorail to MK. We meet up with my parents and head to the Haunted Mansion. This is our third trip in. Remember the cast member who scared me the first time? He was there the second time working the front door, and he stared at me creepily as I entered and walked down the hallway. This time he's back on the loading platform, and the handle of or doombuggy won't shut. He reaches over and closes it, and I say "Thank you!" He just stares at me without a word. A and I settle back and get ready to enjoy the ride. Just as we're about to pass from the loading area through the archway, the CM pops his head in our buggy and says, very loudly, "You're Welcome!". A and I both shrieked. I have to say we say a lot of really great CM that week, but he was the best. And he was very young (probably A's age), so it was nice to see him so in character.

After grabbing lunch at Columbia Harbor House (yum!), we hit Mickey's Philharmagic. I think this is cute, but I have a hard time seeing 3D effects sometimes, so I don't think I got the full impression. A loved it though, as did Mom and Dad. MK was starting to get a little crowded, so Mom and Dad said they were heading to Epcot. A and I wanted to shop a bit and such, so we said we'd see them at dinner and waved goodbye. We did Splash Mountain and Space Mountain, and shopped up and down Main Street. About 2pm, we decide to head over to Epcot and bid adieu to the MK. I always hate leaving this park for the last time, and I make up excuses to go into every shop to prolong the moment! But finally we're on the monorail and headed to Epcot.

During this time we still have not heard from M1, and since we know he's been communicating with folks back home, we make some calls to see if anyone's heard anything. A's boyfriend has, but he won't tell her anything. He just says M1 sounded funny and wouldn't say much. BF knew much more than that, but didn't want to say any more. Since they are still a new couple, A doesn't push and hangs up. I call a friend of mine who sits next to BF at work. He says he heard BF talking to M1 and it sounded like M1 was preparing to head home that day, but he couldn't be sure. By this time, we are at Epcot, and check out Living Seas and World Showcase. We eat and shop, and run into my parents in France. More pasteries are purchased (even though we're going to be eating in less than two hours!!) and A and I head to Japan to shop (Japan and China are my two favorite shops in WS, followed closely by France and the MouseGears in FW). Loaded down with bags and no closer to a solution, we leave Epcot at dusk and head over to The Boardwalk. I tell A not to worry and we'll talk to Dad when we get to dinner.

The walk over was gorgeous; I love seeing the Beach Club and the Boardwalk all lit up. We take a few pics and head into the FF, where my parents are already seated at the cooking bar with J&M2. They have ordered a bottle of champagne and the bartender pours us glasses. We toast the week and proceed to have the best dinner ever. I have a tuna sushi appetizer which is so huge I can't finish it even with Dad's help, and the potato wrapped snapper with leeks. I LOVE this and devour every bit. I then get the bananas foster and eat every bit of that too. A gets this dessert I can't remember the name of but "Chocolate Overload" would be appropriate for it! Also heavenly, and we roll out of FF stuffed and happy.

A and I plan on hitting PI again tonight, so we ride back to OKW in the van with my parents to change. My mom quietly asks if we think M1 will be there, and I tell her I don't believe so. I think he is long gone. Dad says we'll take A to the airport with us tomorrow and get her on our flight. A sighs in confusion at this whole turn of events.

To answer some of the questions people asked on my last post: M1 and I had known each other for about 3 years and been friends for about 2. I didn't think there would be any problems with him coming, as I figured he'd be golfing or pooling all day. I certainly didn't anticipate all the drama, and I'm still not sure I understand it all. He was a pretty good friend prior to all this. Also, I don't think he had a thing for A, but I do think it's possible he was jealous that she was dating BF, which took some of BF's attention away from M1. He had a hard time understanding why BF would call to talk to A and not want to talk to M1. But that's just a guess on my part.

Part two is the rest of the evening: baggage gone, token money on the counter, cryptic note for A...

but then again, his behavior the entire week was really awful. A grown man of 35 behaving like a child. And to take it out on an innocent person is just plain rude.

I wonder if you're right about his feeling threatened by A's relationship with BF, especially if he and BF have been close friends. A lot of men not in steady relationships get kind of weird when their guy friends hook up and start to spend more time with the girlfriend than with them.

Have been checking the boards every couple of hours all weekend for your latest update. Can't wait for the rest of the saga.

BTW, your parents sound like terrific people and your dad in particular is a gem. Make sure you give him a big kiss. I know from experience that our time with our parents is all too fleeting and we need to be sure they know how much we love them.

1. I had that same CM at the HM. Because he did the "You're Welcome" bit to me too. Very cool.

2. I cannot BELIEVE the behavior of M1. If it were me, I would have gotten new key passes for everyone in the party, but him.

3. Glad you didn't let this jerk ruin your vacation.

4. Looking forward to the wrap up.

Thanks, I was expecting Day 7 this quick....now let me read the next few reports that you have posted.

I'll say it again, what a weird guy M1 is. I can't believe how ungrateful he was to your parents and you guys. What a silly man! And I agree with an above poster, your dad seems like a great guy.

Thank goodness you posted the rest of your report. I kept looking and looking for them last night, not realizing you hadn't posted them yet. I was on the edge of my seat!:teeth:
